Wide Smile Family Support Program

In recent years, we have continuously experienced that more and more children need psychological help outside of hospitals. More often, Smile therapists or institutions affiliated with the Smile Foundation have approached us, looking for individual therapy opportunities for children in need. We have already taken on a few cases, in connection with which we have received feedback that this has been of great help to families left alone in a difficult situation.

Based on these experiences, we have developed a new program that can target children/families in need of psychological support on a wider scale than our therapies for chronic patients undergoing hospital or outpatient treatment. This is the Wide Smile Family Support Program, which aims to provide regular individual help to those children who need urgent psychological help, but are denied it due to the long waiting lists in the state system or because their parents could not afford private services. The program operates based on an internal application system, in which Mosoly therapists can submit applications to finance or supplement the psychological care of children growing up in needy families within their scope.

In 2024, the foundation financed nearly 250 therapy hours within the framework of the program, a number that we hope will increase even further this year.
